Minister of Culture Monica Babuc received Thursday, on June 22, in a courtesy visit, the H.E. Mátyás Szilágyi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary to the Republic of Moldova, with the occasion of ending his mandate in our country.
The discussions between those two interlocutors were focused mainly on the common actions undertaken on different levels of the bilateral relationship in the culture field, being remarked cultural exchanges in the field of theater, cinematography, fine arts, etc.
Monica Babuc highly appreciated the activity of the Hungarian Embassy in Chisinau concerning the promotion of the cultural values, thanking to the Hungarian Dignitary for the support given to artists from the Republic of Moldova, but also for the contribution to establish partnerships at the interinstitutional level.
In his turn, H.E. Mátyás Szilágyi expressed his gratitude for the Ministry of Culture’s support in successful realization of the various cultural events and projects in our country, underlining the culture important role in strengthening social cohesion.
