Minister of Culture Monica Babuc had on May 15, a meeting with Pawel Scura, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Lodz, the Republic of Poland, where the officials discussed the perspectives of cooperation relations development between these two states.

During the talks, Minister of Culture Monica Babuc was strongly convinced by the possibility of bilateral cultural cooperation deepening, highlighting the richness and diversity of the cultural and heritage objectives of both countries. In context, the official has showed her interest toward Poland's experience in restoring national heritage objectives. 

In his turn, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Lodz, Pawel Scura, expressed his openness to extend the bilateral cooperation in the culture field, mentioning that it’s the domain that strengthens the relations between two states. The Polish Dignitary talked about his country's experience in development of the cultural infrastructure.

A particular topic of the talks was the exchange of information on the cultural events that are organized both in the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland, as well as facilitating the mutual participation of artists and artistic groups in these events.

At the end of the meeting, Minister of Culture Monica Babuc handed to the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Lodz, Poland, Pawel Scura, the Ministry of Culture’s honor diploma as a sign of appreciation for the excellence in work and special contribution to the intensification of the cooperation in the culture field between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland.
